I ordered this powder pact in shade 01 Light Beige and it came in a cute packaging with a sponge inside the box. The powder is lighter than I expected so I wish they had more shades available so I had more options to choose from. The texture is very powdery so if you decide to use brush to apply it, you should be careful to tap your rush before applying it on your skin to remove the excess powder. I use their own sponge but I prefer brush or beauty sponge as it blends better with them. It has very light coverage so if you want a natural and light foundation this can be a good option for you but you can also use it as setting powder over your foundation to set your foundation and remove the excess oil. It works good for oily to normal skin type. I have dry skin and I couldn't use it alone as foundation as it makes my skin so dry but it works good as setting powder over my foundation.

I love the coverage of this powder but it unfortunately doesn't work for dry skin. I have eczema, dry and sensitive skin and this sticks to my dry patches and enhances my fine lines and dry skin. I gave it to my daughter who has an oiler face and it works flawlessly. She said it is one of her favorite powders. So keep that in mind when ordering. It works great for her skin, in fact it's perfect for her. For my skin however, it doesn't work.

This is a very silky, matte face power that does a decent job of smoothing the skin and eliminating shine. I like it but I do wish the packaging was a little better. Given the price, the compact feels a bit cheap. Please note there is some shine in this, but it doesn't show up on the skin.

The color works great for my tone, not cakey or too powdery. Helps with shine when applying halfway throughout the day to freshen up.. great price comparatively to similarish type compacts that can be upwards of 30+z

I have dry skin and usually use translucent loose power over my makeup if I use a powder. I was intrigued by this brand so I got the Buff Beige compact to try. The compact has a mirror and a sponge and the sponge is separated from the powder by a plastic tray. The powder is a little darker than I thought but it matches my skin almost exactly so that is good. I have medium skin that is on the lightest end and usually wear Natural Beige or Sand foundations.This powder is tightly packed. It applies fine with the sponge but I use a brush because I want just a little over my make up so as not to make my skin look cakey. It blends well and doesn't make my dry skin look powdery or dull. As a foundation, it's light to medium coverage. If I apply a heavy cream before I use this, it looks fine as foundation but I prefer my liquids and creams to keep my skin dewy. For those with oily or combination skin, this would be great though. I like the formula, shade, compact, and the fact that it sets my makeup without looking cakey. I probably will go back to my loose translucent powder after using this but I like it more than I anticipated and think it will work well for most people.

I have to say I love this compact and the way it’s designed. It keeps the applicator from sitting in the powder which is fantastic!!It was non irritating to my Sensitive skin. It helped my make up stay put. I really like this powder.

Great coverage using the L.O.C.K. Boundation, I don't have to use a lot of powder with this brand. Goes on smoothly/evenly.

Had never heard of this brand and I'm a little picky with powders so Debbie Downer here was slightly doubtful that it would work for me. To my surprise I actually like it a lot. I often wear full coverage foundation plus powder of some sort. But there's often days where I don't feel like and/or have time to do full makeup. I have combination-type (oily t-zone) skin so compact powders like this are nice to have when I'm rushing, or traveling, and want to control some of the shine on my face. Now, I also have really red cheeks, sometimes with more redness than other days, and this doesn't mask the redness-- especially if it's a really red day-- but it usually helps lessen the appearance of it. When I do wear foundation, it does a nice job of holding it place. I also usually prefer shimmer powders, so I appreciate that this one is- it may just be in my head but I feel like it helps brighten a bit
