So I think you have to blend this while you're applying. Otherwise it kind of looks like paint when it dries. At first I wasn't a fan but it actually looked better after it dried and I added a lipgloss topcoat. The matte shade actually isn't too drying and I think some of the darker shades might look better and be less noticeable when it comes to the wand marks, so overall not bad. I love K-beauty and it was fun to try this brand but so far their blush is my fave.

This review is for L.O.C.K. Color, L.o.c.k. it Nude Matte Lip.This is kind of a cross between a gloss and a matte. I goes on fairly easily and doesn't dry too quickly.

The L.o.c.k. it Nude Matte Lip in Brick Rose is easy to apply, and goes on very nicely. For me, this is my color!Got compliments on the flattering shade. It doen't seem to have super staying power but I drink a lot of water, so this probably doesn't help. Even though a fair amount ended up on the spout of my water bottle, there was still a tint of color on my lips. I would expect to have to reapply a couple times during the day if you want to have full cover. It didn't seem to cause any drying to my lips while I wore it. I would say, if you looking for a really long staying lip color, this may not be your top choice. If you don't mind reapplying, especially after drinking, go for it.

This matte lipstick comes in 4 different shades and I ordered color "01 Sweet Peach" which based on the swatch picture it should be a very nice peachy nude shade with warm undertone but in person the color is super light pink shade which is not even close to what they show in the swatch pictures. Although the shade was different than I expected but I ended up like the shade. This lipstick comes in a very simple classic packaging and has nice thin applicator. It has very soft texture and the pigmentation is pretty good. It doesn't dry out quickly but when it does, it makes my lips super dry and I don't like the sticky layer that leaves on my lips.

I am not a fan of any major lip color that has to be applied using a wand. Wands are for teenagers and wizards, and using one with lip color means you have major cleanup to do afterwards. Lipstick is for adults, and you can apply via the lipstick itself, or with a brush. But the applicator is the only thing I don't like about this product - everything else is awesome.The color is literally perfect for me. Admittedly, that's total serendipity. Personally, I think my lip color is more of a "coral" (depending on what I'm wearing and the light) - but cosmetic shopping is completely haphazard when you order a color named by Legal / Marketing and matched via your particular computer screen. But it turns out that "Brick Rose" really means me, even though I originally thought after I made the choice that I probably should have gone with "Peach" instead. Nope, I'm Brick Rose.And, given the usual mess that a wand applicator causes, once I fixed the errant color with makeup remover, and blotted my lip, everything stayed where I wanted it. All day. And my lips didn't feel dried - but moist and comfortable - I actually forgot I had any lip color on.And the color was easy to remove at the end of the day with the rest of my makeup. So for me, this was a great matte color, that stayed on all day - it was just a little difficult to put on due to the teenage delivery mechanism.

L.O.C.K. Color, L.o.c.k. it Nude Matte Lip 03 Brick Rose,I looked at this lipstick on 3 different devices and went to the manufacturer's website to determine which shade would be best for me and decided on Brick Rose which looks like a neutral mauve shade with brown undertones. which is even on the package. The color is more of a deep rose with orange undertones. I was really disappointed since the formula is excellent.I finally figured that I can make this work using it as a topper to my regular NYX lip liner in Nude. It looks wonderful, is long-wearing, and the brown of the lip liner tones down the orange. It dries down matte but doesn't feel tight or make my lips look horrible. I wish the colors were more on point.

Such a beautiful and soothing look. It really is beautiful and elegant. I don't usually use nude colors so I'm very surprised how nice and flawless this makes your overall look. Perfect for everyday. Long lasting effect and doesn't leave you with dry lips like others matte lipstick brands.

I am used to the super stay stuff but this isn't bad really, just not as all day as the other stuff. Otherwise it is pretty good.

L.O.C.K. Color, L.o.c.k. it Nude Matte Lip 03 Brick Rose, Net 0.14 oz. / 4 gI got this in the shade Brick Rose, which turned out to be a medium orange/peach shade. That's not what it looks like in the listing nor the color of the tube. But aside from the color being a surprise, this is a good matte lip. It applies easily with the doe foot applicator and doesn't take too long to dry down. Very comfortable to wear and is almost completely transfer-proof. Doesn't dry out your lips at all. Leaves a stain behind as it wears off.
